The rooms offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, creating a serene and picturesque ambiance. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. They were knowledgeable about the area and readily available to provide recommendations for nearby attractions and eateries. Thirdly, the hotel provided all the basic amenities one would need, ensuring a comfortable and hassle-free experience. Lastly, the breakfast served at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Our impulsive trip to Zostel turned out to be fantastic! The vibe, location, and most importantly, the people were amazing. We made a lifelong friend in the owner, Karma Sonam, who always made time for the travellers. The trek to Fambonglho Wildlife Sanctuary organized by him was a next level experience. The canteen staff were friendly and the food was excellent. we had a great time at Zostel Gangtok and would definitely go back again!

The reception staff could have been more welcoming, and the canteen and co-working spaces were not well-maintained, which left a bad impression.

The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the rooms are cozy and clean with plenty of comforters for warmth. The daily housekeeping is a plus, ensuring that everything is neat and tidy. , the value for money is great as they offer laundry facilities and comfortable lounges for seating and hanging out.

One downside is the lack of cleaning supplies in the rooms, such as brooms or wipes for guests to clean up after themselves. having a self-catered kitchen with a microwave would have been a nice touch, but it wasn't a deal-breaker as there are plenty of food options nearby.
